Strep!

Well, I haven't been to work this week. The Dr. complimented the beautiful rainbow of colors in my throat. Despite her general reluctance to prescribe antibiotics, she decided that it was a good idea in this case. I feel a bit run down, especially when trying to do anything (like work), but my throat isn't that bad.

I hope to get better soon, I hate using all of my vacation days on the sofa.

Julie's still a little sick, though considerably better than last week.
Blugh, time for some more lying down.

Still Winterish

Last week was warm, in the lower 70's. It was beautiful weather, we went on walks, got excited about all of the summer fun around the corner. Then earlier this week, Julie got the Flu, it rained, there was thunder, and snow.

Yesterday, I drank more beer than I ever have...combined. That's right ladies and gents, an entire 12 oz bottle. Every sip made me quiver in disgust; however, I soldiered on to drain it in an astounding 2.5hrs. I'm not sure why I drank it. I felt compelled to follow a managers orders as any good employee would. "Hey Greg, you want a beer?" Who wouldn't drink at work if given the opportunity!? Me, that's who-at least if it's beer. But I did it anyway. I just made sure nobody was watching my face as I sipped away.

Weekend Update

Nothing to exciting to report, just a little strange.

Julie and I looked at some neighborhoods that I had found while riding around on my lunch break.
We walked through a couple very nice townhouse models then drove around a bit.
We got a little lost in a neighborhood of HUGE houses easily 5000+sq.ft. Julie saw a yellow yield sign with an airplane on it, we were on Cessna Dr. Some of the houses had hangars; yes, like for airplanes. I thought Travolta lived in Florida.

Side note, is there anyone interested in being partial owner of some beautiful Colorado real estate?

Gearing up for next Winter

Happy Easter!

Now that the 09/10 ski season is coming to a close, it's a great time to get ready for next year. We bought Julie boots ($30 marked down from $160) and me a board, Julie's going to use my old one ($140 from $350). We are also buying season passes to Copper Mountain, big sale that ends today. The passes get us discounted lift tickets for friends and family ($59 instead of $92), discounts on rentals and food. We would love to see anyone who wants to visit us and one of the nation's best ski resorts!
