So, the snow melt rate should slow soon I hope. That means fly fishing. So we went on a scenic trip today to the Poudre River which is found NE of Fort Collins. We drove about 200 miles round trip. The road is supposed to be one of the most scenic in the state, it did not disappoint. The air temperature was in the mid-90's (until this evening when the wind was howling and it rained), the water was very tempting. There were MANY white water rafters and kayakers enjoying it all, some fly fisherpeople (just as many women as men), and the occassional crazy intertubber. We wanted to drive further to continue our exploration but we ran out of time. Anyways, the following pictures need no further description.
