After my interview today, which went well, we drove through Estes Park on the way to RMNP. Julie and I can't wait to go back. We actually bought a year pass to RMNP so we are definitely going to go many more times and have many more pictures to share. Also, the building you see in some of the pics is the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. Its the Hotel that inspired Stephen King to write The Shining. Its such an awesome building but I can see why it could be creepy too. The best part about it was the Elk that were just milling around right in front of the hotel. They were everywhere!
Thats all for now. Tomorrow is our day with the kids so we will update as soon as we have new stuff!
Oh, that brings me way back. I used to work in Estes Park, at an Italian restaurant called Mama Rose's not too far from the Stanley hotel. Go check out if they're still around next time you go. The food was really good.
